Review Sample Missha Superaqua Cell Renew Snail Cream

 I got this from my purchase of Secret Key Starting Treatment Essence. The vendor gave me some samples for me to try and I used it all.
Too bad, the quantity is not enough for me, I love this snail cream though.
Here's the picture of the sample I got

If we open it, we can see that it's more like a gel. It has no color, a strong pleasant smell, the texture is not too thick but if you let it stay longer on your hand it will melt. It's very watery and if you apply on your face you'll feel that it has cooling effects on our skin just like water and it's easy to blend and it won't leave any greasy feelings.




3 days I've used this snail cream and my skin got better, it's amazing.
You can feel the effects yourself, your skin got clearer, supple, and it helps a lot to get rid of acne.
It contains snail mucus which is good in regenerating our cells so that the dead cell can be replaced quickly and it repairs our skin textures to be soft and smoother than before.

Too bad I only got this on tiny samples,
I really want to buy the full size, 40 or 50 ml cream but the price is unfriendly to me.
It's about IDR 350K, you can find it on online stores.

February Haul

This is my second post for today, and also for this month.
Few items that I bought in this lovely February are:

1. Clean and Clear Active Clear Acne Speed Clearing Gel
   This product claims that it can reduce acne appearance and help us get rid of pimples within 4 hours.
   The price is quite cheap (around IDR 20K) and it's easy to find.
2. Ovale Face Paper
   Blotting tissues? Yes. I use this whenever I feel my face become oily. and pat pat pat, bye bye shiny face.
   This one is also cheap, super cheap! and you can have 100 sheets of paper.
3. The Body Shop Born Lippy Raspberry
   My  favorite. The smell makes me falling in love with it and everytime I apply it on my lips, I just can't hold myself to lick it again and again because of the fresh scent of raspberry. And it moisturizes my lips very well. Love it.

4. The Body Shop Seaweed Deep Cleansing Facial Wash
   One of my fave. I like the cool sensation it makes. It's soap free, but effectively can cleanse dirt from face very well.

5. The Body Shop Seaweed Purifying Facial Cleanser
   Hmmm.. A product to clean my face and make up. It's very nice. One thing about seaweed range from TBS is I like the smell.

6. The Body Shop Tea Tree Toner
   I'm fighting my acne problem and I need a supporter, a toner! I use this after washing my face or cleanse my face with another kind of cleanser like milk cleanser or even cleansing cream. It helps minimizing pore appearance and cleanse face even more.
   You can find it at The Body Shop store.
7. Shinzui Facial Wash
   Frankly, bought it because of its extra volume. 25% extra is quite big, ehehehe...
   I will use this if I still can't find any product that works well on my skin, so maybe 2 or 3 months later after I finish using my other facial wash. :P
   Cheap and easy to find. The price is less than 20K and it has a nice scent.
8. Shinzui Body Lotion.
   I don't think I need to explain this lotion. It is an ordinary lotion like all lotions you know. Whitening effects and bla bla bla. No SPF. Not sure if I'll use it or not, I still have my Vaseline.
   Cheap and easy to find. The price is less than 20K and it has a nice scent.
   
   There's no 9 and 10 although as you can see in the pic, there are other products I didn't put on the list.
   They're not bought, they were given.
   I got The body Shop Nutriganics Drops of Youth 30ml from TBS after winning best comment competition, and The Body Shop Shea Body Whip 250 ml from TBS Beauty Class for answering their question correctly.
   
   And this haul and gifts I got for free will make a list of items I should review.

Review : Nutriganics Drops of Youth Part 2

I'm truly sorry for this late post,
I wasn't able to post it because I was too busy with my thesis which is not done yet until now... aghhhhh I'm soooo upset.

Okay, go back to the review, last month I posted about my skin condition and review part one of nutriganics DOY.
I guess my readers can't wait to see the results, hehe...
Frankly, I didn't feel any significant effects by using this products in 5 days.
Well, yes my skin feels smoother but still it's not that good in oil controlling.
Then I tried using it for a month and ta daaaaaa,, this is what I'm waiting for, a visible results!

Results:
My acne gets better,
it helps reduce black spots,
my skin texture is smoother,

My face feels supple,
My skin feels healthy.

My cheek on the other side hasn't changed much, i wonder why, hahaha...
In my opinion, i think this product is okay,
It has good effects on me, but one thing that I don't like about it is the price.
So I suggest buy this if there's a big sale in The Body Shop store,
Otherwise, you'll have to pay it on its regular price ( IDR 589000 for 50 ml and IDR 459000 for 30ml).
Repurchase? Maybe yes maybe no, hahaha,,,, it's pricey >_<

Once again I apologize, maybe this review part 2 isn't as good as what you guys expect but I'll try to improve it later, right now I'm just not in the mood to write...

Review: 5 days to more radiant skin challenge TBS Nutriganics DOY Part 1 and my FOTD

Hello, 3 days ago i bought this pre-serum and curious about the effect on my skin.
So i decide to try it for 5 days to prove whether it's good or bad for me.
Honestly, my skin is in a terrible state right now. Blemishes, acnes, larged pores, whiteheads, it's all killing me. Before I start my review on my first day using this, I'm going to give information about the condition of my face and why did it turn worse.

It's all started 3 months ago, I did not use any skin care treatment, or even wash my face with facial cleanser! Ooopss, it doesn't mean that I also didn't wash my face, it's just every products I bought didn't really help me to get a clear skin, pure water was better for me.
I have a sensitive skin, it's very troublesome. That's the main reason I don't use any facial cleanser or even cosmetics. I only use baby powder and lip gloss in my face and for facial cleanser,  I've tried using ponds, clean and clear, garnier, i was hopeless. Yes my skin got cleaned very well but on the next day, guess what! Pimples! Blemishes! I just can't stand having a red face full of blemishes like that.

Then another phenomenon happened. I gained some weight, it happened very fast. Can you imagine it, from 42 kg now I'm already 50kg and it last only in 2 months! What the hell! I'm so shocked and until now I still can't believe that I turned fat!
My face is also changing, I've become chubby and my face has turned oily. I think it's hormonal.That's why now I'm easily getting acne and cleaning my face only using pure water is not helping me because my face is now oily. Oily face is burdensome, it makes dirt can stay on my face then it becomes acne. So I started using facial cleanser and cosmetics.

In the past 2 months, I'm using cheap products which can I found in mini markets but that doesn't help me get rid of my problems.
Until I found an online shop and it sells korean cosmetics, I bought some, and it works fine.
But then I remember my mother in law-to be, she's 40++ years old (I can't remember the exact age) but she has a beautiful face, clean, firm, white, no wrinkles or even black spot. Damn it!!! I'm still 21 and I've got a lot acne, black spot, dark circles, and my face is oily.
Most of all her cosmetics is from The Body Shop, that's why now I'm also using it and my skin gets better. Well, price will never lie.

Well, this is my TBS Nutriganics DOY, it's pricey and I will cry hard if this product doesn't work for me. I expect it works well since TBS products has helped me getting rid of acne (TBS Tea Tree Oil). Only few small acne left.

 

Let's start!

Brief introduction:

• TBS Nutriganics DOY is made from babasu oil and criste marine plant stem cells which TBS believe will be good for our skin in smoothing, anti-aging, and also regenerating since it's a highly concentrate.

• The Body Shop said that 8 of 10 Asian women has made this pre-serum into their daily routines and sold one every minute! (I doubt this since it's pricey, IDR 589000 for 50ml)
  
  
  
  

Packaging:

• It's made of glass, a thick green glass, with a white cap.

• If you open it, you'll see that it's a pipette! I'm glad it's very hygienic. Just pump the cap and the pipette will suck up the gel (I'm not sure it's a gel).
• It contains 50 ml and must be used within 12 months. My prediction is if I'm using this twice a day with 2 drops per usage, the bottle will be emptied in 4 or 5 months.

Textures:

• It's like a gel, a clear gel but it's very watery, has no colorants.

• TBS claims there's no paraben and silicones in this products. It's very organic. So don't let the pipette touch your skin or anything else to make sure the contents remain  hygienic.
• It will absorb into our skin really well with no greasy feeling left. :)
• The fragrance is okay, I don't really like it but I think it's not bothering me so I'm fine with it, at least its fragrance is better that tea tree oil.

After toner, i use this pre-serum then use my Secret Key essence, put a little bit moisturizer, then BB cream to cover dark spot, then finished with loose powder and lipstick.

And this, is my face of the day.

The Body Shop Nutriganics Drops of Youth, Will This Work Well on My Skin?

Hari ini aku mampir ke TBS Store Plaza Medan Fair untuk mencari produk yang satu ini, Nutriganics Drops of Youth.
Produk ini katanya merupakan bestseller dan lagi booming di pasaran karena sekarang TBS sudah meng-upgrade size-nya yang semula 30 ml sekarang dikemas dalam ukuran 50ml.
Aku udah browse dan baca macam-macam tulisan mengenai produk ini, dan rata-rata orang bilang bagus untuk melembutkan kulit.
Akhirnya aku memutuskan untuk membeli produk ini.
Di bulan Januari ini, produk ini diskon 15%, sedangkan harga normalnya adalah Rp 589.000, aku manfaatkan kesempatan ini untuk membeli produk ini.

Awalnya aku ragu beli produk ini, aku takut hasilnya gak signifikan, karena kalo hasilnya gak nampol kan percuma juga buang uang setengah juta tanpa hasil yang yahud.
Mbak2 SPG nya menawarkan aku untuk make over gitu dengan menggunakan produk  yang aku pakai sehari-hari, yah hasilnya enak sih...
Kalau dilihat di gambar, mereka bilang "5 hari untuk kulit yang lebih cerah"
Well, mari kita lihat apa saja sih perubahan yang terjadi di kulit wajahku  terhitung 5 hari aku menggunakan produk ini!
Apa ini cuma omong kosong demi promosi belaka, atau ini memang suatu produk yang amazing?

My 2014 Daily Beauty Skincare Tutorial

Tahun baru, jiwa baru, dan kebiasaan baru!
Ini terjadi sama aku, termasuk produk skincare harianku juga berganti.

Morning:
1. Mandi dengan menggunakan The Body Shop White Musk Smoky Rose Shower Gel (karena wangiiiiii), Libertine, atau Chocomania Shower Cream (seminggu 2x pakai Chocomania Body Scrub juga, hihihi), lalu mencuci muka dengan The Face Shop Herb Day Facial Foam, kalau scrub (seminggu 3x) dengan memakai Garnier Multi Action Scrub untuk mengangkat sel kulit mati.

2. Lalu aku memakai The Body Shop Seaweed Clarifying Toner untuk membersihkan dan menyegarkan wajahku. Caranya, tuangkan toner pada kapas secukupnya dan tepuk tepuk ke wajah.

3. Setelah memakai toner, aku menggunakan essence favoritku yaitu Secret Key Starting Treatment Essence.

4. Gak lama setelah pakai essence, aku mengoleskan The Body Shop Vitamin E Moisture Cream. Terkadang aku juga suka memakai Secret Key Snail+EGF Repairing Gel Cream untuk efek yang dingin.

5. Kulitku sekarang berjerawat padahal dulu kulitku hanya bermasalah di daerah T saja. Jadi jerawatku juga harus dirawat setiap hari. Aku mengoleskan The Body Shop Tea Tree Oil pada cotton bud lalu mengoleskannya di bagian yang berjerawat saja.

6. Siap untuk make-up! Biasanya aku menggunakan The Face Shop Clean Face Sun Cream  SPF 35 PA++ atau Parasol Face Sunblock Cream SPF 33 (bisa dibeli di apotik), aku pakai salah satu. Terkadang aku lebih dulu menggunakan BB Cream. Ada 2 BB cream yang aku gunakan, Secret Key Snail+EGF BB Cream dan The Face Shop Clean Face BB Cream. I pick randomly.

7. Step ini tidak aku lakukan kalau hari kuliah. Aku jarang  menggunakan eyeliner dan mascara. Mascara favoritku dari The Face Shop dan eyeliner favoritku dari L'oreal.

8. Setelah BB Cream meresap dan warnanya blend dengan kulit wajahku, terkadang aku menggunakan The Face Shop All in One Face Base dan mengakhirinya dengan menggunakan The Body Shop Loose Face Powder untuk matte finishing. Saat aku ingin wajahku kelihatan glowy, aku gak memakai face base dan loose powder, cukup bb cream saja.

9. Aku gak pernah lupa dengan bibirku, sehari-hari aku menggunakan Wardah Hydrogloss, terkadang aku pakai The Body Shop Lychee Lip Gloss untuk hasil bibir yang lembab.

10. Body Lotion The Body Shop White Musk Smoky Rose dan Libertine yang sehari-hari kugunakan. Diikuti dengan EDP dan Body Mist yang sesuai (gak lupa deodorant juga). Saat aku ingin menggunakan EDT Madagascan Vanilla (waktu itu iseng beli) aku menggunakan lotion merk selain the body shop karena lotion body shopku gak nyambung sama wangi vanilla, hehehe. Pada kulit badanku yang kering sepeti sikut dan lutut, aku oleskan The Body Shop Chocomania Body Butter.

Nah aku sudah siap untuk beraktifitas seharian.

Evening:
1. Bersihkan wajah dan sisa make up dengan The Body Shop Camomile Make up Cleanser. Kadang aku pakai The Face Shop Rice Ceramide Emulsion atau The Face Shop Herb Day Cleansing Cream. Lalu aku cuci muka lagi, kalau malas aku langsung ke tahap toner hahaha...

2. Aku pakai The Body Shop Seaweed Clarifying Toner di kapas untuk membersihkan sisa-sisa kotoran di wajah. jika aku memakai produk the face shop, toner yang kugunakan adalah The Face Shop Rice Ceramide Toner

3. Lagi-lagi aku memakai Secret Key Starting Treatment Essence setelah toner.

4. Kemudian, aku memakai The Body Shop Seaweed Clarifying Night Treatment atau bisa juga Secret Key Snail+EGF Repairing Cream dan Gel Cream.

5. Aku mengoleskan The Body Shop Tea Tree Oil pada bagian yang berjerawat.

6. Dark spot akibat jerawat aku atasi dengan memakai obat-obatan tretinoin yaitu elocon dan vitacid. Aku gak tau apakah penggunaan tea tree oil bisa dibarengi dengan penggunaan kedua tretinoin ini, tapi selama aku pakai bersamaan, gak ada masalah apa-apa.

7. Tidak lupa aku memakai body lotion. Selamat tidur!

Review : The Body Shop White Musk Smoky Rose Body Lotion

Hai semua!  ^o^
Kali ini aku mau kasih review mengenai salah satu Body Lotionku yaitu TBS White Musk Smoky Rose.
Sebelumnya aku minta maaf karena gambarnya kurang bagus, kurang cerah, dan kurang besar >_<
soalnya aku foto malam-malam sebelum tidur, udah ngantukkkk...

Lotion ini merupakan salah satu produk White Musk Smoky Rose range, aku beli ini bersamaan dengan shower gel dan EDP-nya karena kebetulan ada promo kalau beli EDP+lotion gratis shower gel.
Ukurannya cukup besar dengan isi 250ml dengan harga IDR 179000.
Warna lotionnya putih seperti krim dengan tekstur yang cair.
Dari segi kemasan, menurutku biasa aja, seperti produk body shop yang lain, kemasannya simple. Botolnya warna ungu, yang merupakan ciri khas Smoky Rose.
Tapi body lotion ini tidak pakai botol biasa seperti body lotion white musk smooth satin, botol lotion ini menggunakan pump.
Kalau mau dipakai tinggal putar aja searah jarum jam lalu tekan sampai isinya keluar dan kalau sudah, tinggal diputar melawan arah jarum jam lagi deh untuk menutupnya.

Di bagian belakang botol kamu akan menemukan deskripsi produk ini, yaitu : Krim untuk merawat kulit, dengan keharuman sensual White Musk Smoky Rose. Menjaga kelembaban dan menghaluskan kulit.

Cara pakai: Usapkan pada tubuh secara merata, untuk hasil yang maksimal, gunakan secara teratur setelah mandi.
Gunakan juga rangkaian White Musk Smoky Rose lainya untuk keharuman yang sempurna.

Selama kurang lebih 3 bulan aku pakai ini, aku suka sama wanginya.
Menurut akuWhite Musk Smoky Rose memiliki wangi yang elegan, dewasa, hangat, dan berani.
Cocok untuk digunakan kalau kamu lagi ada special event.

Sejujurnya aku lebih senang wangi white musk libertine daripada ini karena aku suka wangi floral yang kuat di white musk libertine. awal aku cium wangi EDP smoky rose, aku merasa wanginya sedikit menyengat kayak merica, tapi lama-lama enak juga ternyata. tapi itu EDPnya sih yang menyengat, pas mbak SPG-nya ngolesin lotion di tanganku, aku suka wanginya.

Kalau kamu juga beli body lotion ini, jangan lupa untuk digunakan selama 12 bulan semenjak kemasannya pertama dibuka ya, karena lewat dari itu kondisinya akan kurang bagus. Lihat di belakang botol akan ada simbolnya bertuliskan 12M. :)

Yang kurang dari lotion ini adalah manfaatnya, kenapa bisa gitu?
Lotion lainnya di pasaran punya SPF dan ada juga efek whiteningnya.
Sedangan lotion ini hanya untuk melembabkan dan menghaluskan saja.
Tetapi tujuan utamanya sih supaya wangi khas smoky rosenya tahan lama.

Untuk kamu yang ingin punya kulit lebih putih dan cerah atau untuk perlindungan dari sinar matahari, aku gak nyaranin kamu untuk memakai lotion ini yaa,
Tetapi kalau kamu pakai lotion hanya untuk "membangun" aroma tubuh yaaaa White Musk Smoky Rose Body Lotion gak salah untuk dibeli, bersamaan dengan EDP, EDT, shower gel, dan fragrance mist untuk wangi yang perfect dan tahan lama.

Jadi, pikir-pikir dulu apa yang kamu benar-benar butuhkan saat ini.
Keharuman, perlindungan, atau efek memutihkan?
